Volunteering at the Stark Center
Volunteers and interns at the Stark Center help out with a variety of tasks. Currently, the volunteers have been transcribing interviews, entering magazines into our collection inventory, creating digital files of our archive collections, organizing our book collections, and assisting the librarian with other general library tasks.
Our student volunteers are University of Texas students who are studying within the Department of Kinesiology. These students are required to complete a total of 130 hours at the Stark Center (est. 10 hours per week) to receive semester credit for their KIN 327L course.
